Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains athletic field surfaces as scheduled to provide playable field conditions for all scheduled use.
• Collaborates with Grounds department staff, Athletic department staff, University Recreation staff, and other organizations.
• Ensures adherence to relevant regulations, guidelines and standards for NCAA Division I athletic fields.
• Snow and ice removal as assigned.
• Provides assistance to other Landscape Maintenance Operators as needed.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous professional or collegiate baseball / softball field maintenance experience.
• Certification or degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Plant Science, Horticulture, or equivalent discipline.
