Chardonnay Golf Club is seeking a dedicated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our professional team. This position is responsible for assisting the Superintendent in maintaining and enhancing the overall conditions of Chardonnay Golf Club. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for the management of the daily activities of the golf course staff including providing supervision, training, and development. Additionally, the Assistant Superintendent will aid in keeping all equipment in operable and safe condition and will help assure that the maintenance staff abide by the company safety program guidelines.

Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Experience with golf course product application and water management.

• Ability to coordinate and perform product applications
• Water management
• An understanding of agronomics related to plant health and soil management
• An understanding and commitment to Environmental Management
• Mathematic, budgetary, and computer skills
• An understanding of golf course equipment operation and repair
• Ability to manage diverse employee population
• Ability to obtain a California QAL pesticide license within 6 months of employment
• Ability to perform golf course maintenance operational tasks
• Successful candidate must pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary: $63,000 to $70,000 per year D.O.E
• Position is an hourly position with possibility of overtime
