We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager/Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by cultivating strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors. This individual will possess a deep understanding of sports field renovation and construction best practices and will leverage accurate data analysis to competitively price projects.

Educational Requirements
BS in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Landscape Construction, Turfgrass Management, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years in sports field, landscape, or related construction
  • Proven track record of success in sales and estimating within the construction industry, preferably in sports field construction or related field.
  • Strong understanding of sports field construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as estimating software and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed, with less than 5% of overnights.

Special Requirements

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to advise clients on optimal solutions for sports field projects.
  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive project proposals, bids, and consulting engagements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
