Park Specialist – Athletic Fields (Full-Time)

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for identifying, planning, leading, supervising, and carrying-out a wide variety of athletic field maintenance related projects, irrigation maintenance and seasonal duties as assigned. Oversees crew members and trains them to carry out duties and tasks assigned including proper use of any specialized equipment, tools or supplies as required.
JOB DUTIES TO INCLUDE
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid IL driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 5 years relevant experience required. Ability to obtain State of Illinois Pesticide license. Professional certification(s) and/or active membership in a professional association desirable.
PAY & SCHEDULING
This is a full-time position working Sunday – Thursday from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm. Additional hours required for overtime, special events, and emergencies. Schedule has potential to change based on seasonal demands.
Target hiring range is $28.04 – $30.00 per hour dependent on qualifications.
