Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation is seeking applications for a Stadium & Venue Maintenance Technician at American Legion Memorial Stadium and Grady Cole Center. American Legion Memorial Stadium is a newly renovated, 10,000 capacity, multi-purpose stadium. Grady Cole Center is a civic center that hosts a variety of events. The selected candidate will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Managers with the preparation and maintenance of these facilities. Some of the responsibilities include field layout and painting of field and logos, set-up and break-down of facilities for events, cleaning restrooms, and general cleaning and maintenance of the facilities. This position will also be asked to assist at The Sportsplex @ Matthews as needed. This full-time position will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays based on the event schedule.
