Summary: The Lead – Game and Events position will be responsible for the overall care of the ballpark grounds and leading of staff, primary focus being to provide continuity and event knowledge to the Grounds Department, allowing managers to complete and fulfill their job responsibilities. This position will assist with snow removal in the winter.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience: Preferred candidates would possess an Associates or Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Turf Management, soils, horticulture, or related college program; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One to two years major/minor league or collegiate baseball experience desired.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Hours: Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm, however, additional hours may be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
