Sports Field Tech

Excellent opportunities to become a leader in the sports field industry!

MSC is looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. Join the fun as we work on some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields in the Twin City area and throughout the Midwest. This is a full-time, seasonal position where, depending on qualifications, candidates can expect wages of between $22.63 and $24.61hr., plus union benefits of an additional $17.68. There is a company bonus program in addition to the competitive wages.

Here is what you can expect:

• Work responsibilities will include sports field renovation, fertilizer and pesticide application, field layout, and synthetic turf maintenance.
• A 40–50-hour work week during the growing season, with occasional weekend work when necessary.
• Work outside in all types of weather conditions.
• A future opportunity to pursue your CDL Class A license. MSC will help with the cost!

Here is what we expect:

• Positive attitude with a great work ethic.
• You are able to lift 50 lbs.
• You are able to take direction for work and work independently as needed.
• You are able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and crew members.
• A willingness to acquire a pesticide applicator’s license (MN. Applicators license A, E, and J endorsements)  you will have 30 days to acquire.
• Experience operating tractors, loaders, and various 3-point implements is a plus!
• Clean driving record and a current DOT health card.
