Sports Field Assistant Foreman

MSC is looking for a sports field career-minded individual to join our team. Join the fun as we work on some of the premier natural and synthetic sports fields in the Twin Cities and throughout the Midwest. This is a full-time seasonal position including union benefits. The qualified candidate should expect to work 40 – 55 hours per week during the growing season. The Sports Field Assistant Foreman can expect a combined yearly compensation between $48k – $60k, depending on qualifications. Here is what we are looking for:

Experience operating field grading equipment.

Strong tractor and skid steer operating ability.

Knowledge and experience in sports field management including, but not limited to: infield grading and renovation, awareness of field traffic patterns, aerification and topdressing, proper grass edge maintenance.

• Desire and pride to have a positive impact on athletic fields around the state.
• Possession of a state of Minnesota pesticide applicators license or the ability to obtain one in 30 days.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with various 3-point attachments.
• Able to take direction and work independently as needed.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and crew members.
• CDL license, Class A required, or a plan to acquire by your start date.
