Mission:
To provide a comprehensive summer internship experience that encompasses multiple sports and sectors of the Sports Field Management Industry. Experience to include NFL, MLS, Professional Baseball, Live events, Field Construction/Design/Sod Installation. This opportunity will provide a well-rounded experience for aspiring Field Managers to better understand and prepare for the work force upon graduation.

Location:
Charlotte, NC – Carolina Panthers/Charlotte FC – Charlotte Knights – Carolina Green Corp

Duration:
12-week program- Split Evenly into three 4-Week blocks with a rotation between all three entities. 4 Weeks with Carolina Green, 4 Weeks with Charlotte Knights, 4 Weeks with the Carolina Panthers & Charlotte FC.

Education Opportunity:
By spreading the experience over multiple facilities, the future Field Manager will gain exposure and learning opportunities in the following:

• NFL Field Layout & Painting
• MLS Field Layout & Painting
• Agronomic & Cultural practices on Bermudagrass
• Synthetic Turf Maintenance & Paint Removal
• Professional Baseball Field Management and Field Preparation
• Sod Production & Installation
• Field Design, Construction, Irrigation Design
• Stadium Live Events, Concerts, International Soccer Matches

Compensation:

• $15.00/Hr. – $5000 Cost of Living Stipend – Attendance to the NC/SC Regional Conference
• Access to Live Sporting Events & Concerts – Team apparel – Networking opportunities
