Oak View Group is currently searching for Turf Management and Horticulture interns for the 2025 Major League Soccer season. The grounds department is responsible for the upkeep of Subaru Park, IBX Training Complex, WSFS Bank Sportsplex and the surrounding landscapes.

We are looking for motivated individuals passionate about turfgrass management and/or the sport of soccer. This position will allow you to gain hands on experience in the day-to-day operation of a sports turf program: such as mowing, field repair, synthetic turf maintenance, aerating, chemical applications, field painting and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Grounds and Head Sports Turf Manager with daily agronomic responsibilities at Subaru Park, IBX Training Complex, WSFS Bank Sportsplex and surrounding landscapes.
• Setup and tear down of event equipment such as benches and goals.
• Assist in the maintenance of the turf equipment fleet.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred high school or college student with a passion and focus in a Turf Management/Horticulture major or related field
• Ability to work effectively independently or in groups, many times unaccompanied.
• Strong work ethic, time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs, climbing stairs, ladders, walking for extended periods of time, etc.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Have flexible hours including night, weekend, and holiday work to meet the needs of the team.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions such as rain, wind, heat, etc.
