In a vote of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Turfgrass Association (NTA) at the conclusion of the recent NTA Conference, Dan Salois of Pullman was elected president of the NTA for the next year.
Salois, a senior account manager for agriculture and turf with Milliken Chemical, spent the past year as vice president of the NTA and was secretary for the Board the year before that.
A 2003 graduate of Washington State University with a degree in crop science, Salois has spent more than 20 years in the turfgrass industry, both as a superintendent and in sales. He spent seven years as the superintendent of Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, home of the LPGA Marathon Classic.
Before joining Milliken, Salois was with Planet Turf as a sales representative. He’s also the treasurer of The Montessori School of Pullman.
