Mid-Atlantic Turfgrass Expo to be held Jan. 21-23

The Mid-Atlantic Turfgrass Expo will be held January 21-23 in Fredericksburg, Va. 

Day 1 of the event will focus on Personal and Professional Development in the Green Industry. Sessions on Day 1 will cover the following topics:

  • Homogeneous Turf Management: A Call to Unify our Profession.
  • Positive Coaching and Self Care for Green Industry Professionals.
  • Minority Recruiting in the Green Industry.  
  • Building and Inspiring a 21st Century Workforce.  
  • Engaging Youth in the Turfgrass Industry.  
  • How to Communicate About Glyphosate.   

Topics for Day 2 are tailored to specific green industry segments: sports turf, golf, and lawn care/sod production.

Day 3 of the event will focus on pesticide and fertilizer certifications.
