Conference Hotel

We are making an important change to how hotel reservations will be managed for the 2026 SFMA Conference in Fort Worth, TX.

In previous years, hotel booking links were released before/separately from conference registration. For 2026, hotel links will only be provided after you complete your conference registration. This change ensures that hotel accommodations are reserved for registered attendees, giving you a smoother and more reliable booking process.

What This Means for You:

  • Once you register for the conference, you will immediately receive access to the official hotel booking links.
  • Hotel rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to register early to secure your preferred accommodations.
  • Only registered attendees will have access to the discounted conference hotel block.

We appreciate your cooperation as we make this transition. This new process will help ensure that our hotel block is reserved exclusively for SFMA members and attendees, providing the best experience possible for everyone.

Travel to Fort Worth

The 2026 SFMA Conference & Exhibition will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center, located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Texas. Below you’ll find everything you need to plan your trip.

By Air

  • Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) – Located about 20 miles from downtown Fort Worth, DFW is one of the largest airports in the world and offers nonstop service to more than 250 destinations.

  • Dallas Love Field (DAL) – Approximately 35 miles from Fort Worth, DAL is a convenient option for travelers on Southwest Airlines.

Ground Transportation

  • Trinity Railway Express (TRE): Direct train service connects DFW Airport to downtown Fort Worth in about 1 hour.

  • Taxis & Rideshares: Uber, Lyft, and taxis are widely available at both airports. Average rideshare fare from DFW to downtown Fort Worth is about 30–40 minutes and $35–$50, depending on traffic.

  • Rental Cars: Both airports have full-service rental car facilities if you prefer to drive yourself.

Getting Around Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Convention Center is centrally located, within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, and attractions. You’ll find:

  • Molly the Trolley – a free downtown shuttle.

  • Trinity Metro buses and trains – easy public transit across the city.
