Be recognized for your work on your natural grass sports fields through the annual Field of the Year program. Members can submit fields in five sports: baseball, football, softball, soccer, and sporting grounds (not a mainstream sport, such as lacrosse or rugby). Your submission is also independently judged by a panel of peers.
The Field of the Year is awarded to natural grass fields that exhibit excellent playability and safety and whose managers utilize innovative solutions, effectively use their budgets, and have implemented a comprehensive agronomic program.
Winners receive a plaque, recognition at the SFMA annual Awards Banquet and in SportsField Management Magazine, three nights hotel, media publicity, and signature clothing.
