IA issues call for proposals

The Irrigation Association (IA) is issuing a Call for Proposals to gather ideas for future industry presentations. Single presenters or panels of individuals are invited to submit proposals for presentations on topics that impact the irrigation industry and today’s irrigation businesses, including discussions about the latest industry trends, business growth and practices, advocacy issues, sustainability and more.

The IA is seeking proposals for presentations in varying lengths from 20 to 90 minutes. All submitted proposals will be considered as the IA develops a plan to provide valuable and accessible content and educational opportunities throughout the year. These submissions may be selected for the Industry Insights program at the 2023 Irrigation Show and Education Week in San Antonio (Nov. 27-Dec. 1). Submissions will also be considered for IA education webinars, industry partner presentations, editorial content and other offerings.

Proposals are requested in the following content focus areas:

  • Advocacy & Government Relations
  • Business Growth & Practices
  • Irrigation Trends & Best Practices
  • Research
  • Sustainability & Climate Issues
  • Technology & Innovation
  • Workforce Development

This Call for Proposals is part of the IA’s work to continually expand its educational opportunities to provide valuable training and development to those in our industry, as well as those interested in learning more about irrigation. We appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge and expertise as we work to provide valuable information to benefit those in our industry.

The deadline to submit a completed proposal is July 14 and can be submitted here. Submissions selected for presentation during the 2023 Irrigation Show and Education Week will be notified in mid-August. If you have questions, contact IA.
