Volunteer Field Rebuild – Daytona Beach, FL

We are thrilled to team up with Project Evergreen again at our 2024 Conference and Exhibition in Daytona Beach. Mark your calendar for Sunday, January 21, for the volunteer field rebuild at Palm Terrace Elementary School.

Renovation plans include the following:

  1. Creating a new playing field for elementary school sports i.e., t-ball, kick ball, etc.
  2. Cutting out a pitcher’s mound and bases, bringing in in-field mix for the immediate area around the bases and leaving the rest of the infield/outfield natural grass.
  3. Aeration and overseed (if needed), fertilize and plant trees and/or flowers.
  4. If time and the number of volunteers permit, we will offer to help mulch the school’s playground area.
