The SAFE Foundation, SFMA’s charity, is offering a $30,000 grant for research, generously funded by the North Carolina SFMA. The research proposal must benefit the sports field management industry in the following area: Field maintenance or performance as it relates to the safety of the playing surface for athletes (study may be directed towards but is not limited to turfgrass health, uniformity, wear tolerance, hardness, athlete injuries, field temperatures, etc.).
